As soon as we saw the Chimney House, we knew it was the only place for our wedding. It was the first and last wedding venue we viewed! Everything about it was perfect. From the location to the beautifully decorated interior, it matched our vibe perfectly.
Lucy and the team were absolutely fab from the very beginning. The planning process couldn't have been any smoother, and they really went out of their way to make the whole thing as stress free as possible. Communication was consistently impeccable! We had sent the team so many emails with questions and queries, all of which were responded to fully and swiftly.
The day itself was everything we dreamed it to be! The cosy vibe of the Chimney House complimented our intimate micro wedding incredibly well! The room was filled with gorgeous wild flowers and tons of candles and the punch bowls looked and tasted fantastic.
We then headed over to the Victoria for our meal and reception. This place is something else! Again, it's so beautifully decorated! There is a rustic feel, gorgeous artwork on the walls, even the toilets look really cool. The whole place is very accessible, which is something that was important to us. The bar was also incredibly well stocked and catered to all of our guests preferences really well.
The food was to die for, and is something our guests are still raving about. One thing that initially attracted us to the menu was the use of local produce and suppliers. The banquet style delivery of the meal worked really well, and everything tasted brilliant. The attention to detail was phenomenal! The team are very accommodating, we asked for an adjustment to the menu and they didn't hesitate.
Overall, the team are happy to help with anything they can. All of the staff, from the planning team to the bartenders were brilliant! We really could not be happier with how our day went and couldn't recommend the Chimney House and the Victoria enough!
