"It all started on the summer solstice 2025... We'd been desperate to visit The Victoria after seeing pictures and hearing how good the food was. We went to a supper club, realised that the food was indeed, outrageously good, and immediately asked if they did weddings. We weren't even engaged. The Victoria was everything we could have wished for and more. Upstairs, the chapel is airy and romantic, decorated with a sea of single stem flowers and elegant candles - it captures the light in such a magical way, giving it all an almost otherworldly beauty. Downstairs the bar is modern and slick, harnessing that 'industry meets nature' feel that we love about Sheffield. It also makes an incredible dancefloor - enough space to party, while never needing to leave the fun to stay hydrated. The addition of the vintage photobooth is also perfect; there's something delightfully comical about trying to fit a full wedding dress in there alongside anyone else. Everyone we spoke to about The Victoria gave us glowing reviews, from friends to our wedding vendors. They were absolutely right - the whole experience, from planning to the big day, was incredible. The staff are so friendly while being absolute pros at what they do. The day felt flawless and effortless, despite knowing how much hard work was going on to make it so. So many people told us it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, and even the best wedding they'd been to. We genuinely had the best day of our lives, and are so indescribably grateful to all of the team. And now, as part of The Victoria's wedding club, we get to enjoy those feelings whenever we go back to visit (we're already booked in for another supper club!!)"

The most captivating passage from a tiny scrap of ancient prayer manuscript we found wedged inside a wall during the restoration - a magical voice from the past reminding us that Victoria was a chapel in her former life. Such a blessing to have on our ceremony room - which has had the original windows restored to their former glory - allowing sensational light, shapes and patterns to flood the room with joy and romance.
Lovers of small and captivating details will adore the hand drawn branding of Victoria’s circus horse and rider, hand-painted ‘dry brush’ way-finding, Pelegrims hand cleanser and a celestial incense fragrance...Romantics will love the tiny scrap of prayer sheet found lodged in an old wall cavity with the words ‘be thou my light’ and a tiny victorian tea cup preserved in a bricked up fireplace.
Licensed for marriage - ceremonies at Victoria are framed by a beautiful restored stage - part of the original chapel from 1884 - styled with seasonal blooms and candlesticks - always light and joy filled complete with a gorgeous aisle - choose a celebrant or a registrar for your perfect way to say I do!
Our bar team work with top ingredients to create delicious classic cocktails but also creative custom tipples - fully embracing the luxury of working alongside Victoria’s Kitchen to create infusions, smoked ingredients, purees, salt mixes and herbal blends. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all. From all the behind the scenes and the build up, to on the day, to after helping pack up. You’ve all been incredible, the bar team, the chefs, the staff on the day, everyone was just amazing. They were on it, I didn’t want for anything at all. It was genuinely phenomenal. Maddy and the team were exceptional and almost everything went perfectly!!! I actually don’t remember really worrying about much on the day at all.
