Join us on Friday 4th of July in Victoria's Courtyard for a gorgeous sunny evening of wine tasting and food - if the weather isn't quite on our side - we'll be hosting inside our beautiful Clubhouse...

A Taste of The Loire Valley

For the wine tasting - we'll be guided by Patrice Lipatti-Mesme - a classically trained sommelier and Le Bon Vin. 

We’ll be starting the evening with a welcome drink - followed by four wines alongside a beautiful French inspired Supper - using the best of British produce from land & sea - created by Victoria's Head Chef - Emma Tophill Reed

The ticket price includes a welcome drink, 4 x wines for the wine tasting and the food menu. Wines and cocktails will be available to buy from the bar too!

Muscadet Sur Lie, c de Chenard, Loire, France

Vignobles Philippe Chénard, located in the heart of France's Loire Valley, embodies French excellence in the production of quality wines. This estate, run by the talented winemaker Philippe Chénard, embraces the tradition and art of viticulture that so characterize this renowned wine region. The wines produced from its vineyards bear the imprint of ancestral expertise, combined with an undeniable passion for the terroir and the grape variety

‘Sancerre Blanc, 2023’

Domaine serge Laloue is operated by the brother and sister team of Frank and Christine who continue to perpetuate the work originally undertaken by their father, serge, in the 1960’s. The estate consists of 21 hectares of vines, essentially located in the commune of Thauvenay, 5 kilometres from the town of Sancerre.

‘Saumur Rouge, Domaine des Raynieres’ 

The vineyard of 33 hectares consists essentially of a clay limestone soils. The vineyard is managed using sustainable methods : yields are regulated through pruning and "green" harvesting. All the vines are grassed to control their vigor. The harvest is picked at perfect maturity. Before being brought in, it is carefully sorted.

Vinification takes place in a climate-controlled cellar in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats for perfect harmony according to the desired vintages.

J.Mourat Collection Fiefs Vendeens Rouge, Loire, France

When listing the traditional landscapes of the Loire Valley - Sancerre, Vouvray, Pouilly-Fumé, the region Fiefs Vendée is not one that springs to mind.

The family property of Château Marie du Fou, located in this often overlooked area, has been around since 1880 and has survived the Hundred Years War and the French Revolution.

An organic estate from 2006 and in the winery everything is done to respect the integrity of the grapes so that the wines are all first class.

Arrivals are from 18.30 if you’d like to start early at the bar! 

We’ll be inviting you to take your seats for the tasting and food at 19.15

Just let us know if you’ll be joining us early - otherwise we’ll see you from 19.00.
