We believe in using only the best and most sustainable products across our three venues - The Victoria, The Mowbray and The Chimney House and so choosing Pelegrims hand cleanser was a no brainer for us.
Crafted in small batches using unique ingredients - by-products from the wine- making process (grape skins, seeds and vines). All the ingredients are ethically and responsibly sourced from the U.K only and none of the products are tested on animals.
Pelegrims is the brainchild of natural formulator, Alex Verier (previously Director at Haeckels), backed by former tech executive (and Sommelier trained) Jerome Moisan.
"Our intention is to formulate low intervention, active skincare formulations that work in harmony with the skin supporting it to heal and rejuvenate itself. Sustainability is hugely important to us, so using waste products from the wine making process and harnessing the powerful grape extracts are at the core of our brand and our future research."
The skincare line has been formulated, trialled and manufactured in the same lab/production centre, located only about twenty minutes away from Westwell Wines on the North Downs in Kent, the vineyard that provides the waste material the grape extracts come from.
As a result Pelegrims knows exactly what goes into the products and how the magic happens. They literally see the process all the way through from seed (vine) to bottled product!
Not only are these products sustainable but they smell delicious and leave your skin feeling soft and comforted. So next time you visit one of our venues be sure to enjoy the very best of skincare while feeling positive about its impact on the world.
