A Lunch For Friends & Family
We gathered just before Christmas - on the weekend of the Winter Solstice - Sunday the 22nd of December - to celebrate and cherish the importance of friends, family and community with great food on the tables and special times ahead…
A special treat before the Christmas holidays start in earnest - and of course a chance to experience our beautiful new venue for yourselves!
We started in The Clubhouse - and then moved upstairs to The Chapel for a lovely 3 course lunch presented by Head Chef Emma Tophill-Reed.
To Start
Victoria-made sourdough & salted butter (v, g)
Cured sea trout with pickled fennel, lemon & olive oil
Or cheddar cream cheese for our vegetarian guests
Followed by…
Chicken, ham & leek pie - with hand-made butter pastry (g)
Shiitake, leek & tarragon pie for our vegetarian guests
Sides to share
British potatoes roasted with garlic & thyme (v)
Roast celeriac & radicchio with sweet orange dressing (v)
Grilled cabbage dressed with lemon & hazelnuts (v, contains nuts)
To Finish
Black Forest Gateau - with fresh cream & Amarena cherries (v, g)
