The Sheffield Independent Book Festival 2026
Curated by Sheffield indie bookshops we hosted the debut festival made by booksellers, for book lovers. The aim? To celebrate stories, authors, and the wonderful shops and publishers who keep them alive…
Guests roamed between The Mowbray and Victoria enjoying the beauty of our spaces and the beautifully curated Festival programme
One Event - Two Spaces
At The Mowbray we hosted a book and craft market - complete with Coffee, Cakes and Cocktails - which guests enjoyed inside The Mowbray or Up On The Roof.
At Victoria we hosted a full day of talks, conversations and workshops in The Chapel and The Lodge for kids and adults!
In the afternoon The Lodge transformed into a cosy Reading Room. Clubhouse Social presented an all day cafe-bar menu of family festival food from Vic’s Fire Kitchen which guests enjoyed basking in the sunshine relaxing to the soundtrack of open mic and poetry readings… We also hosted author’s book signings in The Courtyard!
Result? A magical day with over 1100 guests

Chocolate Guinness Bogtrotter Cake and Pooh Bear’s Honey & Brown Butter Buns - and Festival butties - Burrata Butty - with grilled veg on a house-made ciabatta and Pork Collar Butty with salsa verde, celeriac & apple slaw
