“Be Thou My Light”
The most captivating passage from a tiny scrap of ancient prayer manuscript we found wedged inside a wall during the restoration - a magical voice from the past reminding us that Victoria was a chapel in her former life. Such a blessing to have on our ceremony room - which has had the original windows restored to their former glory - allowing sensational light, shapes and patterns to flood the room with joy.
Guided by Destiny
During our four year restoration Victoria has always guided us on her destiny.
"Clues from the past leading us forward - a tiny scrap of prayer sheet preserved inside an original wall, a Victorian teacup found in a bricked up kitchen fireplace, an ancient engraved glass liquor bottle…"
It was written in the stars for this beautiful building to complete her metamorphosis and extend open arms to guide our guests back inside as a leading Northern Wedding Venue.
"Victoria was an ancient site for flower gardens and fruit orchards, a plot for a dahlia grower, a world war survivor, hallowed ground, a home for a circus - a derelict redbrick Sheffield industrial building to complete our trinity of premium Northern event spaces…"

Powered by the sun from the solar panels on our gable roof to the dancing light that fills our event spaces - Victoria is filled with radiant energy in all rooms made more so - filled with our ethos of recycle, reuse, reduce to present spaces with authenticity, heart and a feeling of doing good.

Originally built in 1884 - Victoria has been responsibly and sustainably renovated from derelict with infinite care and attention. Powered by solar energy alongside a carefully executed curation of premium reclaim and reuse gives Victoria a purpose like no other - inviting vital awareness around topics of responsible design, environment and sustainability.
Nothing here has gone to waste as Victoria has been developed as the ‘ultimate reuse’ project as the goal throughout - which extends to the interior design and exterior landscaping - creating a place of beauty from antique and reclaim treasures and repurposed items.

House Hire
Victoria is yours exclusively for your chosen time… The dreamiest of spaces for maximum enjoyment!
Hire includes ceremony styling and reception styling and use of all four spaces within Victoria - The Clubhouse, The Chapel, The Lodge and The Courtyard from Midday to Midnight.

Our Wedding Cakes are magical. Freshly made 'on the day' in Victoria’s Kitchen it is a light as a dream ‘special recipe’ Victoria with layers of buttercream, delicious jam and indulgently divine. We’ll even dress your cake with perfectly picked florals from one of our house florists for a wild gypsy hedgerow feel with cascades of romance and wanderlust...

The Bars at Victoria
We have 3 bars! The main cocktail and coffee bar is in our gorgeous The Clubhouse - making, shaking and pouring outstanding drinks. The second bar is a service bar on the first floor in The Chapel. We also our alfresco bar in The Courtyard...

We love to make sure every little detail is taken care of for you! When you place your preorder - relax! We'll take care of everything!
Alongside the drinks you have selected for your guests - Victoria’s Bars will be open all day into night - and your guests can order local ales, draught lager, cider, spirits and cocktails…Either set a budget to cover your guests bar spend or let your guests pay as they go!
